Who is allowed to practise
In Greece the licensed title is psychologist, Ψυχολόγος. Law 991/1979 restricts it. The Public Health Directorate of the person's region grants the licence, under the Ministry of Health. The European Association for Psychotherapy records that Greek law does not recognise psychotherapy as a profession. Nor does it protect that title.
Someone in Greece may call themselves a psychotherapist without holding anything the state issues. Ask which licence a practitioner holds and which region issued it. Then ask to see it. There is no national register to search.
