William Guri, Ph.D

Counseling Psychologist

An integrative humanistic approach to psychotherapy and counselling for adults and especially those from underserved populations.

About Me

I offer an integrative humanistic approach to psychotherapy and Counseling for adults. I create a welcoming space for adults from all backgrounds, particularly those from underserved communities. We will work collaboratively to explore your experiences, fostering self-discovery and personal growth at your own pace. This approach is ideal for anyone ready to make sense of their world and move towards greater well-being.

Approach

A commitment to dignity and cultural respect shapes how I meet people and help them understand transitions, grief, anger or shifts in faith. Sessions in Slough or online, carried out in English, move at a pace you set—sometimes reflective, sometimes practical—and we agree clear steps between meetings. I combine exploratory listening with grounded tools and supervision-informed reflection to clarify patterns and build coping. Those from varied backgrounds, especially people who've felt unheard, often find this steady, respectful rhythm helpful.
