Mrs Virginia Geffroy

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I am a bilingual British-French psychotherapist. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I am experienced in treating complex mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, complicated grief, relational difficulties and childhood trauma (PTSD & C-PTSD). I work online (worldwide) & in-person (PARIS).

About Me

I offer a warm, bilingual and safe space, guiding individuals through the complexities of childhood trauma, including PTSD and C-PTSD. As a British-French psychotherapist, I understand the nuances of exploring difficult experiences in your preferred language. This is vital for truly processing past wounds. I provide dedicated support, online worldwide or in-person in Paris, helping you build a path towards resilience and emotional self-regulation.

Approach

I focus building a therapeutic alliance in which traumatic memories and emotional distress can be explored and processed safely. I integrated traditional talking therapies with somatic approaches. I am also trained in EMDR. Sessions are offered in English or French, online or in-person in my Paris consulting room. I work collaboratively to set manageable goals. I weave gentle somatic tracking with reflective dialogue and practical grounding exercises between meetings so regulation and insight grow together. Many adults coping with longstanding trauma or difficult relationship patterns find this paced and embodied approach helpful.
