Ms Victoria Angel

Art Therapist

Movement therapy forms part of creative the art therapies. The modality trusts in embodiment as the key feature of therapy. Movement therapy establishes a creative journey of moving, talking and playing together. We use movement, art, music, mindfulness and play to explore what the subconscious wants to reveal.

About Me

I offer movement therapy, a creative art therapy where embodiment is key. We embark on a creative journey: moving, talking, and playing together. Through movement, art, music, mindfulness, and play, I gently explore what your subconscious wants to reveal. This therapy is ideal if you seek to connect with feelings beyond words. It helps you find clarity through an embodied, expressive process.

Approach

Sessions unfold as guided experiments in sensing and expression, using body-led invitations to notice what lives beneath words. In my Cape Town studio or via online sessions in English, we move at a gentle pace—mixing guided awareness, playful improvisation and short reflective talk—to unhook stuck responses and explore relationship patterns, stress or postnatal shifts. Between sessions you may receive simple movement or mindfulness prompts to try at home, keeping the work alive. This way of working suits people who prefer learning through felt experience.
