Approach

Rather than focusing solely on labels, I work with you to slow the pace, name what matters and create steady ways of managing overwhelming feelings. Sessions — in person from my north London practice, or online in English — are practical and collaborative: we use grounding, gentle trauma‑focused exploration and real-life experiments between meetings to test new responses to anxiety, grief, shame or family pain. I keep a steady, measured rhythm so you can build safety and clearer choices. This way of working suits adults seeking thoughtful, supportive change.

Kinds of people I see

It can be hard to acknowledge that you are not feeling okay, and even harder pretending that you are. If you’re feeling sad, lost, stuck, or you have low self-esteem, or feel unhappy in your relationship/marriage, or you're recently separated, or feel depressed, numb or detached after experiencing something traumatic; I may be able to help.

I have worked in a variety of settings which has allowed me to gain experience of working safely with anxiety, depression and their various manifestations, sexual abuse, relationship issues, domestic abuse, rape, trauma, post-traumatic stress, and self-harming behaviours.

I also work with students in higher education which comprises diversity and a wide range of individual experiences. I have 16 years personal experience of working with autism.

How do you know if you are ready?

I know how hard it is to take that first step but if anything here resonates with you and you want to talk, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email. We can arrange an initial session where can gently explore your needs, you can ask any questions that you may have and we can get a sense of whether it feels right for us to work together.

If after we meet you decide that working with me feels right for you, we can make arrangements for our regular sessions. We can arrange to have sessions for a limited period of time and work with a specific focus in mind, or we could leave it open-ended to explore at greater depth. You can decide which feels right for you.
