Mr Uviwe Ncanywa

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I am an HPCSA registered psychodynamic Clinical Psychologist based in Saxonwold, Johannesburg. I am passionate about helping people from diverse backgrounds understand and heal from the emotional pain that can hold them back in life. As well as help explore and identify potential areas of growth.

About Me

I’m passionate about helping you understand the emotional pain that can feel overwhelming. Many people find exploring deeper patterns from their past helps unlock healing and new possibilities. In our sessions, I aim to create a space where you can gently make sense of what holds you back. Together, we identify clear paths for growth. This approach helps diverse individuals move towards a more fulfilling life.

Approach

Working with emotional pain often means noticing the repeating patterns that quietly shape choices and relationships. In my Saxonwold office and via secure online sessions, in English, Sesotho, seTswana, isiXhosa or isiZulu, we move at a measured pace so you feel steady while exploring difficult memories or relational themes. Sessions blend reflective listening, gentle challenge and practical steps you can try between meetings to test new ways of relating and coping with trauma. This way of working tends to suit adolescents, adults and couples seeking thoughtful, collaborative change.
