We aim to provide long-term, insight-oriented, ethical psychotherapy to our clients, keeping their well-being as our top priority throughout the process.

About Us

Therapy Grove is a private practice co-founded by Anahita and Amruta, two psychotherapists who share a vision of providing consistent and ethical psychotherapeutic engagement. Therapy Grove signifies a communal space where individuals gather and can flourish. We aim to create a sense of community and connection among clients, therapists and support networks. Our focus is to engage in process-oriented work using an integrative approach with a strong inclination toward a psychodynamic and relational lens.

Approach

In sessions, we hope to make you feel heard without judgement. Our aim is to notice and to help you notice underlying unconscious patterns that may be getting in the way of your creating a life that you find fulfilling. Each person's stories, needs, desires, and priorities are unique, and in sessions, we hope to create a space where you can simply exist and explore your inner world.

Services

We work with a psychodynamic relational lens and help people with concerns that range from emotional disturbances, anger issues, work or academic stressors, processing traumatic events in life such as loss, adverse childhood experiences, relationship issues, isolation, and self-exploration. We also work with couples who are facing concerns with communication, intimacy, loneliness, infidelity, boundaries, family matters, and financial matters. Our therapists aim to co-create an environment where you can have an open conversation about these challenges, learn effective communication skills, and foster a more fulfilling relationship We also create and hold group spaces because we believe that the quality of our mental well-being is closely linked with the quality of our relationships. With this principle in mind, Therapy Grove aims to create nurturing communal spaces like group therapy, support groups, and peer supervision spaces where individuals can seek support from others who may be facing similar struggles. This helps foster connected and sharing of collective wisdom gained through lived experiences.
