About Me

I am a dedicated clinical psychologist, passionate about supporting the diverse individuals and challenges found within rural communities. I offer a grounded, ethical space to explore your concerns, recognising the unique contexts of rural life. My approach helps people navigate a range of difficulties, from personal struggles to community-wide stressors. We work together to find practical ways forward, fostering resilience and well-being.

Approach

Working from Bushbuckridge, I hold a steady, practical stance that helps people bring safety and clarity to complex, often hidden problems. Sessions in English or local languages — and online when needed — blend careful assessment with attentive listening so concerns such as trauma, grief, abuse or behavioural difficulties are understood in everyday context. Work moves between paced reflection, simple coping skills and concrete planning; between sessions I offer short check-ins or homework to keep progress focused. Those experiencing abuse, addiction or family stress often find this grounded pace helpful.
