Mrs Tarryn Gatinho

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

I take a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to the therapy process. I believe in building a collaborative and trusting relationship with my clients, allowing for a deep understanding of their concerns and their unique therapy goals.

About Me

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. My person-centred approach helps us deeply understand your unique experiences. We will work together, building a trusting relationship. This helps us make sense of your concerns and support your personal goals. If you have faced difficult past events, our sessions provide a safe environment to process and move forward. This ensures therapy truly meets your individual needs.

Approach

I guide sessions with steady curiosity and clear structure, attuned to what feels safe for you while we explore difficult memories or anxious patterns. In my Blouberg office or online in English, I blend calm pacing, grounding exercises and brief between-session check-ins so progress carries into your daily life. With children and parents I use playful moments alongside simple, evidence-based steps to build capacity and calm. This approach suits people seeking thoughtful, practical work that honours their pace and resilience.
