About Me

I am a Counseling Psychologist in Scottsville, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. I enjoy working primarily with woman and provide psychotherapy for survivors of abuse, perinatal issues surrounding motherhood, those facing life transitions like a cancer diagnosis, infertility struggles and those coping with grief.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is largely eclectic however my psychodynamic training means I will often look at my client's presenting problem in relation to them as a whole person who comes with a past history. Often when we look back, we can understand why we struggle in the present and suggest different ways to cope in the future. It's very important to me that my client feel they are in a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental space where they can share freely.
