Tamara Sosa

Counseling Psychologist

My aim and goal as a psychotherapist is to facilitate growth, self-awareness and change in clients to be able to better manage their difficulties and reach fulfillment in all areas of their lives, empower themselves and work towards self-actualisation.

About Me

My aim as a Counseling Psychologist is to help you navigate life’s challenges. We can work together to foster deeper self-understanding. Through thoughtful exploration, you can build self-awareness and develop practical ways to manage difficulties. My goal is for you to feel empowered, finding greater fulfilment in all areas of your life. This approach supports your journey towards self-actualisation.

Approach

To help you turn insight into usable change, I work in a focused, collaborative way that balances gentle reflection with concrete steps. Sessions in Cape Town or online, in English or Spanish, feel paced to your needs—sometimes slow and exploratory, sometimes directional and action-oriented—with space for practical tasks between meetings. I often track patterns together, name emotional blocks, and build relational or coping strategies you can try in daily life. This way of working suits people navigating transitions, loss, or relationship challenges who want clear, lasting movement.
