About Me

As a Registered Professional Counsellor (BCoun), I support women, children, and young people. I am also the founder of The Counseling Avenue. My extensive experience includes working in women's centres, refuges, and high schools. This means I deeply understand challenges like family violence. I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore feelings and find a positive way forward.

Approach

Healing here unfolds through a steady, gentle pace that honours safety while gently challenging old patterns and rebuilding connection to self. Sessions in Melbourne or online, conducted in English, are practical and reflective—short-term steps to manage immediate distress alongside paced work through painful memories using trauma-informed tools. I listen for practical barriers between insight and action, then co-create experiments you can try between appointments so change feels lived, not just discussed. This way of working often suits women and young people seeking grounded, realistic shifts.
