Mrs Susanne Hart

Registered Professional Counselor

I’m an Accredited Professional Registrant with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS); a leading professional body for counselling in the UK. This means that I'm also registered with the Professional Standards Authority so you can be reassured that the work I do is fully regulated. I also offer supervision for other counsellors and psychotherapists who are working relationally with couples or individuals.

About Me

My name is Susanne Hart, and I offer counselling for individuals and relationship counselling for couples and other adult pairings, such as siblings or a parent and child, in person or online. As a counsellor, my aim is to establish safe counselling relationships that are built on respect and trust.

Approach

If you're looking to explore a challenging aspect of or rupture in your relationship, it's understandable that you'd like some idea of how this will work. We would explore three key aspects of your relationship: your individual experiences in relationship, the dynamic between you and your partner, and the principal issue you're looking to explore or repair. My role is to act as an observer, to notice how you are together, help you to interrupt challenging patterns, and help you draw meaning out of the experiences we'll explore.
