About Me
I am passionate about my job as a counsellor. I began my journey into counselling later after a few years as a spiritual healer. As an older student it was a challenge to start learning again but am thrilled I was able to achieve my bachelor's degree in applied counselling.
I come from a farming background and bring a wealth of knowledge and life experience to the counselling room. My husband and I still farm and we have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren, some living close and some a distance away.
Approach
Together we uncover what matters most and shape a practical roadmap for change, keeping your priorities at the centre. I offer sessions in English from Inglewood and online across Taranaki and New Zealand, pacing work to suit how you show up—steady, focused and responsive. Sessions mix attentive listening, skill practice and brief between-session steps tailored to your life, with regular check-ins so we adjust as needed. Those seeking strengths-based, steady support to strengthen everyday coping and personal clarity tend to find this approach useful.
