Sue Leslie

Counselor

I am an experienced Person Centred Counsellor MBACP Accred who has been working with clients in a variety of settings for over 8 years.

About Me

I offer a warm, person-centred space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. With over 8 years of experience, I guide individuals to better understand themselves and find their own way forward. My approach is about listening deeply and helping you uncover your inner resources. If you're seeking a non-judgmental environment to navigate life's challenges, we can work together.

Approach

Having worked in a range of settings for over eight years, I keep sessions steady and paced to what feels manageable for you. In my Durham room and online I create a calm, confidential environment where we slow things down, attend to safety and name what matters most in the moment. We use careful reflection, gentle challenge and practical steps between sessions to build coping, stabilise distress and notice patterns that sap energy. This way of working often suits people facing loss, transitions, or overwhelming stress.
