Mrs Shana Caskey

Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist who has a great passion for helping individuals, couples, and families manage their stress, depressive symptoms, and injustice they experience in our society. I provide a customized approach to my therapeutic interventions because I believe that one size does not fit all.

About Me

I help individuals, couples, and families navigate stress, depressive symptoms, and the injustice they encounter. Recognising that every person's experience is unique, I tailor our work together. This ensures your specific situation and challenges guide our therapeutic path. My aim is to help you find effective, personalised ways to manage difficulties and foster resilience.

Approach

Starting from your unique concerns, I focus therapy on concrete shifts you can use day-to-day while honoring the social and cultural hurts that shape your experience. In San Fernando and online, in English, sessions feel paced and collaborative — a mix of short practices, reflective conversation, and carefully paced memory work between meetings when helpful. We track small changes, adapt steps to your life, and build tools you can try between sessions. This way of working often helps those facing burnout, parenting strain, or cultural stress.
