Sarah Macdonald

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

If you've been feeling stuck with stress, anxiety, or past traumas and what you're looking for is meaningful change, you're in the right place. I provide a connection-based tailored approach that meets you wherever you may be on your journey. I offer EMDR therapy, individual, and relationship counselling.

About Me

Feeling stuck with stress, anxiety, or past hurts can be exhausting. My connection-based approach truly meets you where you are, always tailored to your unique journey. We can explore what's holding you back through EMDR therapy, or individual and relationship Counseling. This collaborative space helps you find new ways to navigate challenges, moving towards lasting, meaningful change.

Approach

When past hurts or persistent anxiety show up, I slow the pace to create safety and practical clarity, then map gentle steps toward change. Sessions in my Calgary office or via secure online video (in English) move between focused processing, experiential exercises, and collaborative planning, with the rhythm guided by you. Between meetings we use brief, doable practices to anchor new responses and track progress so therapy feels integrated into daily life. Those seeking steady, manageable shifts tend to find this way of working helpful.
