Sarah Hanchet

Psychotherapist (Registered)

Hi, would you like some help, exploring why you are anxious or unhappy? We can make sense together of what got you here and I can help you explore what you want for yourself. I'm a relational and group psychotherapist, and I can see you at 40 Fitzroy Square or online.

About Me

Feeling anxious or unhappy can be a heavy burden. I offer a warm, collaborative space where we gently explore what got you here. As a relational psychotherapist, I believe understanding past experiences helps clarify your path forward. We'll work together to make sense of things and uncover what you truly want. Group sessions also provide a unique setting to gain new perspectives and feel connected. This approach suits those seeking deeper self-understanding and lasting change.

Approach

If you'd like to better understand where your anxiety begins, I work in an attentive, conversational way that links moments from past and present to what you’re experiencing now. Sessions are held in my Fitzroy Square consulting room in London or remotely in English, and tend to feel steady, gently probing and paced to your needs. We notice small interactions, bodily clues and recurring relationship patterns, using psychodynamic reflection and occasional group insights; I may offer simple experiments between sessions. This approach suits adults facing transitions, loss or relationship change.
