Ms Sanisha Vala

Clinical Psychologist

Sanisha is a Clinical Psychologist, Somatic Experiencing Advanced candidate, Trauma Informed Yoga Facilitator & Yoga Teacher. She works from a Jungian perspective with dreams, art therapy and the body.

About Me

Sanisha is a Clinical Psychologist who guides individuals in exploring their inner landscape. She integrates a Jungian perspective with body-centred approaches, like Somatic Experiencing and trauma-informed yoga. This helps you process complex emotions. Through dreams and art therapy, she offers creative ways to understand your experiences. Her practice provides a gentle space for those ready to connect deeply with themselves and foster lasting healing.

Approach

You’ll be invited to attend to sensation, image and movement as starting places for meaning, often shifting between quiet noticing, creative materials and gentle breath-based practices. In session I offer short somatic exercises, reflective art prompts and invitations to explore images from sleep or waking imagination, all paced to your tolerance and curiosity. Between meetings I may suggest simple practices to anchor new discoveries in daily life and to support nervous system regulation. This pathway suits those wanting embodied insight alongside emotional clarity.
