Dr Sandy Hoffman

Psychologist

Dr. Sandra Hoffman is an experienced therapist working with identity, moods and relationships from an intersubjective perspective.

About Me

I help you explore your sense of self, understand fluctuating moods, and navigate complex relationships. My aim is to create a truly collaborative space, where your unique experiences are deeply understood. We will work together to make sense of how you connect with others. This approach fosters clearer identity and more fulfilling interactions. It is ideal for those feeling lost or struggling to find their place in the world.

Approach

I listen for the subtle shifts in how you experience others and yourself, reflecting patterns back so new choices become visible. In my Cape Town practice or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions move at a steady, curious pace — close attention layered with small, practical experiments between meetings. We track mood shifts, relational responses and moments of reactivity through brief exercises, tracking and focused reflection to anchor different habits. This approach tends to help adolescents and adults navigating transitions, repeated conflicts or fluctuating moods.
