Sahra Riccardi

Licensed Professional Counselor

Are you sick of beating yourself up? Feeling out of control of your emotions & behavior? I help people feel better, without losing control.

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Yardley, Pennsylvania. I help you manage abuse, addiction, anger, body image, and eating disorder concerns. I offer art therapy, trauma counseling, free consultations, and online sessions.

Approach

When self-criticism and intense urges hijack your day, I help you slow the pace so choices feel possible again. In my Yardley office or over secure online sessions in English, we alternate grounded, focused talking with hands-on, creative tasks to track patterns and practice small experiments between meetings. Sessions are steady and paced to your tolerance—thoughtful check-ins, gentle challenges, and concrete tools you can try at home. People juggling trauma, addiction, or body-image struggles often find this practical, paced way of working helpful.

Basic Information

In-person & Online

Services

Most of the clients I treat are trying to feel better by using tools that end up making them feel worse. Some common issues I specialize in treating include: binge-eating, sex & love addiction, codependency, recurring affairs & infidelity, and compulsive pornography use or pornography addiction. These behaviors often “help” in the moment, but end up reinforcing a cycle of behavior that can feel impossible to break .

My practice is trauma-informed, sex-positive, and non-judgmental. I believe that we all have an innate ability to heal and we all deserve empowerment, embodiment, pleasure, and joy. Often we just need a compassionate space to figure out how.
