Clinical Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist and a psychotherapist in training. My work offers emotional support and a mirror into my clients' lives, helping them to understand themselves better, discover the resources and pathways that are right for them, to help them cope with their difficulties, and perhaps to live a more authentic and fulfilling life with ease. My work is based on the idea that each human being's experience, feelings, thoughts and worldview are unique, authentic, driven by internal motivation and worthy of respect. There is no one answer that fits all.

About Me

As a Clinical Psychologist and a Psychotherapist in training, I provide emotional support and a space to reflect on your life. I help you understand yourself better, the symptoms you're facing, acting as a mirror and a companion to your experiences. Together, we can discover resources and pathways right for you, helping you cope with difficulties or feeling that something is not going right in your life.

Approach

In my work, I combine knowledge of clinical psychology in working with crisis and emergency situations with the approach of long-term analytical psychotherapy, based on the understanding that only in a safe and stable relationship can deep and stable changes occur that encompass all areas of a person's life. Rather than offering just quick fixes, I guide a careful exploration of what shapes your experience so we can uncover patterns, meanings and practical options together. I provide safe space and collaborative pace for processing difficult experiences and uncomfortable emotions, searching for meaning and resources. During the sessions you can expect active listening, my interest in your life history, exploring imagery and bodily sensations, questions about feelings and reactions that are happening in the session ("here and now") as well as brief grounding exercises. I am also interested in body focused approaches.
