Educational Psychologist

A compassionate psychologist who aims to gain a holistic view of clients in order to provide an accurate assessment of their needs.

About Me

As an educational psychologist, the aim is to understand each child’s unique learning and developmental journey. They uncover a holistic view of strengths and challenges, ensuring a precise assessment of needs. This comprehensive approach helps families gain clarity and find the right support for their child. Clients value the calm manner and the detailed insights provided, making sense of complex situations.

Approach

Starting from a careful sense of each child’s story, I work steadily to map behaviours, learning patterns and emotional responses into practical next steps. In my Durban clinic and via English-language online sessions I balance quiet observation with structured tasks, sharing clear notes and brief home strategies between appointments so parents and teachers know what to try. Sessions are paced to suit attention and emotion, alternating direct skill practice with reflective discussion. This way of working often suits families seeking clarity and usable plans for children and adolescents.
