Mrs Rose Picas

Psychologist

I work with both children and adults using a psychodynamic approach. By establishing a shared awareness of my client’s challenges in a compassionate and holding environment, I aim to help them develop a deep sense of self-understanding and psychological relief.

About Me

I offer a compassionate space for children and adults to explore their inner world. Through a psychodynamic approach, we build a shared awareness of your challenges. I aim to help you develop deep self-understanding and lasting psychological relief. If you seek to make sense of your experiences and find calm, I provide a supportive partnership. Together, we can unpack complex feelings and discover your unique path forward.

Approach

By gently tracing patterns in your relationships, play, and memories I help make sense of feelings that often arrive without clear cause. In my Modderfontein practice and online, in English, sessions are steady and curious—we move at a pace that suits you, use reflective moments to link past and present, and sometimes bring short tasks between meetings to test new ways of relating. This way of working suits families, teens and adults seeking clearer emotional maps and calmer everyday choices.
