Dr Ron Rein

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist in New York and Athens, Greece with a diverse and multicultural private practice since 1993. The orientation of my Ph.D. in NYC was pluralistic with a contemporary psychoanalytic emphasis. My subsequent training involved existential, interpersonal, CBT, person-centered & family approaches.

About Me

With extensive experience since 1993, I offer a warm, multicultural space for diverse individuals. Drawing from pluralistic training, including psychoanalytic and CBT, I tailor our work to your unique needs. We can explore underlying patterns or focus on practical strategies, ensuring our sessions truly fit your journey. This flexible approach is ideal for those seeking a personalised path to understanding and growth.

Approach

Our work moves between reflective exploration and concrete steps, attuned to your pace and the life changes you face. In Kifissia or via secure online sessions conducted in English, I hold a steady, collaborative rhythm—sometimes slow and interpretive, sometimes brief and skills-focused—with practical reflections or short exercises to try between meetings. The process leans on relational clarity and moment-to-moment thinking, helping you navigate relocation, relationships, trauma, or personal growth with greater choice. This way of working suits those seeking thoughtful, adaptable support.
