Mx Rochelle McKeon (they)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am dedicated to social justice and advocacy both in and out of the space of therapy. I hold various intersections of identity and pride myself on being a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, sex-positive, and polyamorous-positive therapist.

About Me

I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic space where all parts of you are truly welcome. My practice is deeply rooted in social justice, acknowledging the unique experiences of diverse identities. If you identify as trans, queer, sex-positive, or polyamorous, you will find an affirming, understanding environment. We can explore your experiences with respect, ensuring our conversations honour your authentic self. This approach helps clients feel seen and supported.

Approach

Holding social justice and intersecting identities as a guiding frame, sessions move with gentle curiosity—attending to relationships, desire, and safety while naming power and culture as they show up. I meet people in English in San Diego and over secure telehealth, creating predictable pacing, check-ins, and clear goals so we can track shifts week to week. Work often blends relational mapping, boundary practice, and gentle trauma-informed regulation, with invitations to try small experiments between sessions. Folks exploring queer, trans, or non-monogamous lives tend to find this collaborative, practical way of working helpful.
