Ms Reabetsoe Buys

Counseling Psychologist

An experienced therapist with a special interest in play therapy, working with adolescents and parental guidance. I also work with adults and families.

About Me

As an experienced therapist, I specialise in supporting young people. I use play therapy to help children and adolescents explore feelings they might find hard to put into words. This can be particularly helpful when words alone feel difficult. I also offer parental guidance, working with you to understand and navigate family challenges. My support extends to adults and families seeking a collaborative space to find a way forward.

Approach

Sessions often begin with gentle activities that let young people show what matters to them rather than only tell it. I work from Midrand and online, offering sessions in English, Sesotho or seTswana so families can connect in the way that feels safest. In-session I blend playful exploration with short, focused assessments and reflective conversation, pacing work to each child or parent's rhythm and sharing simple, practical observations between meetings. This approach suits parents, adolescents and adults who want collaborative, hands‑on support.
