About Me

Before Harmonia became a space, it began as a question, why do people, even those who are successful and accomplished, carry such deep unrest within them? My journey began in listening and searching for an answer to that question. In my early professional years, I worked at the highest levels of global organizations like Shell and AIA, building a career as an HR leader across these multinational companies. From boardrooms to one-on-one conversations, I witnessed the human side of ambition, burnout, unspoken grief, anxiety, and self-doubt. I saw how identity, purpose, and emotional well-being were rarely given space to breathe. Harmonia was created in response to a world that feels increasingly loud, fast, and fragmented. When the mind races and the body struggles to keep up, the self often gets lost in between. We exist to restore that connection, and to help people return to a state of inner harmony. Harmonia draws its inspiration from two Goddesses of harmony. From the Greek goddess Harmonia, we inherit balance and unity, and the order that emerges when things are aligned. From the Chinese goddess Guan Yin who is the embodiment of compassion, we inherit presence, and the ability to listen without judgment and hold space without condition. Together, they shape our ways of being... wise, compassionate, complete and yet human. Being close to these experiences awakened a deeper calling in me.

Approach

Drawing from my experiences, I developed a proprietary approach called Altered State of Consciousness Therapy (ASCT), which blends contemporary psychotherapy with contemplative traditions. ASCT allows clients to access deeper layers of awareness, often facilitating profound shifts while gently shortening the therapeutic journey. It honors both science and intuition. Harmonia is a reflection of this journey. A space shaped by the belief that healing must be human, consent-led, and deeply respectful of each individual’s pace. Here, Dr. Raman offers evidence-based therapeutic support for stress, anxiety, bullying, depression, marriage, infidelity, divorce, family, career, addiction, grief, eating disorders, sleep disorders, ADHD and personality disorders. The Harmonia Method: At Harmonia, we practice integrated psychotherapy. It is rooted in the belief that healing happens when awareness, regulation, and understanding come together. This process unfolds in three broad movements: Awareness, Regulation and Integration. Integrated psychotherapy draws from multiple therapeutic frameworks chosen thoughtfully. Traditional talk therapy often works in a fully conscious cognitive state, which can help build insight but may not always reach deeply rooted trauma or conditioned emotional responses. These patterns are largely stored in the nervous system and implicit memory, beyond rational thought. In deeply relaxed states associated with alpha and theta brain activity, the body shifts into safety, allowing emotional material to surface. When therapeutic approaches like CBT, DBT, Schema, or Narrative therapy are applied within these regulated states, insights are more easily integrated, and lasting behavioural change becomes possible. Past Life Regression Therapy and ASCT are used as tools for deeper exploration. These approaches help access symbolic memory, subconscious patterns, and emotional imprints that may not always be available through conscious thought alone. The focus is on insight, and subsequently, emotional release.
