Therapy Practice

Verified

I provide counselling in English, Tamil, and Hindi. Many of the people I sit with are in the middle of multiple changes at once, and are exhausted from holding it together for everyone else. Where you're from, how your family works, why you can't just "set boundaries" with people you love, why leaving isn't simple, and why staying isn't either, none of it means something is wrong with you. It's just a part of your life.

About Us

I’m Preethi, the Founder and Head Counsellor at Raaiter Wellness, with clinical experience across Australia and India. I hold a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stella Maris College. Beyond my formal training, what shapes my work most is how I connect with and support people through their lived experiences. I founded Raaiter Wellness as a trauma-informed, integrative online counselling practice. The name combines two words: Raa (source) and Iter (journey), reflecting my belief that healing is not about fixing yourself, but about honoring the journey back to the strength that has always existed within you. I work with adults aged 18 to 85, across all genders and abilities, supporting clients throughout Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. I offer sessions in both INR and USD, and a free 15-minute consultation as a first step to explore whether we may be a good fit to work together.

Approach

My approach is direct, integrative, and grounded in trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally sensitive care. I prioritise your sense of safety, move at a pace that feels manageable for you, and gently challenge you when I believe it may support your growth. I draw on techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, Somatic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In our work together, I may ask where you feel something in your body, what texture or colour it has, or what it might say if it had a voice. Not simply as a technique, but because the body often holds insights that the mind is still learning to understand.
