Psychotherapy in Nature

Psychotherapy in Nature

verified by TherapyRoute

We offer a range of therapies that can be a good fit if it’s hard to open up, talk, or trust, or if you’re looking for something different from a more traditional clinical setting. The approach is designed to feel safe and containing, with support that moves at your own pace.

About Us

Psychotherapy in Nature Barbados, led by Philippa Williams, offers bespoke, evidence-based, outdoor therapeutic programs across the island’s West, East, and South coasts. It provides tailored, 5-7 day residential retreats or individual sessions incorporating beach therapy, forest bathing, equine therapy, and Trauma-Informed CBT for restorative healing.

Approach

We work both outdoors and online, offering longer sessions or one-off meetings that fit around your schedule. Our sessions feel steady and conversational, blending body awareness, practical psychoeducation, and, when it’s helpful, gentle grounding with horses, so you can notice changes not just in your thinking, but in your body too. Between sessions, we come up with simple practices and short reflections to help carry that progress into everyday life.
