Ms Prateeksha Sharma

Psychotherapist

I primarily work with young adults and my orientation of understanding mental health concerns is that of a systemic perspective, intersectional feminist perspective and queer affirmative practices. I operate on the social justice framework and believe that mental health services should be accessible to all.

About Me

I work with young adults, helping you understand how your mental health connects to identity and wider societal factors. We explore concerns through a lens affirming all backgrounds and experiences, including queer and feminist perspectives. This creates a truly welcoming space where you can feel safe to explore complex feelings. I believe accessible support is vital, guiding you to navigate challenges with understanding and strength.

Approach

When we meet, I focus on mapping how your identity, relationships and wider systems shape day-to-day struggles and choices, then we test gentle changes in thinking and action. Sessions in Delhi or online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, are paced to your needs — sometimes reflective and exploratory, sometimes skills-focused between meetings with short practical experiments. I blend grief work, anxiety coping and transition planning into a collaborative rhythm so progress feels tangible. This approach often suits people wanting theory-grounded, affirming support that connects feelings to real-life shifts.
