Mr Paul Kruger

Wellness Counselor

I am an experienced wellness counsellor with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. My approach to healing is compassionate, holistic, and evidence-informed, combining principles from psychology with the wisdom of Eastern Medicine, which I have studied and practised for many years. I believe in addressing the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—to help clients build resilience, rediscover balance, and create lasting, meaningful change.

About Me

For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals as they navigate life's most difficult challenges, including trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. My approach to therapy is holistic, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each person. By integrating principles from psychology with the wisdom of Eastern Medicine, I focus on healing the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—rather than simply managing symptoms. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can better understand your experiences, reconnect with your inner strengths, and develop practical, lasting strategies for positive change. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply seeking greater balance, resilience, and personal growth, I will work alongside you to help you move towards a healthier, more meaningful life.

Approach

My approach to therapy is calm, grounded, and collaborative, moving at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. Sessions balance reflective conversation with somatic awareness and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life. I provide a safe and compassionate space where we can gently explore patterns, understand triggers, and build small, sustainable steps towards healing and growth. Drawing on principles from psychology and Eastern Medicine, I integrate reflective listening, breathwork, body-based awareness, and practical strategies to support lasting change. I believe that progress is often made through consistent, meaningful steps rather than dramatic change. Between sessions, you will have simple techniques and exercises to help reinforce new insights and build resilience over time. This steady, hands-on approach can be particularly helpful for individuals experiencing trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, stress, or relationship difficulties, supporting a deeper sense of balance, wellbeing, and inner connection.
