Paolo

Mr Paolo Imbalzano

Psychotherapist (Registered)

An experienced and compassionate psychotherapy professional who can help you on a variety of emotional challenges.

About Me

I am a registered psychotherapist based in Shinfield, Berkshire. I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a Registered Guidance Counsellor. I offer counselling, psychotherapy and group therapy for people affected by abuse, relationship issues, chronic illness, mood disorders and trauma, and I provide adoption-related counselling.

Approach

With experience and compassion at the core, therapy unfolds as a patient, practical collaboration where we notice how feelings show up in the body and everyday choices. Sessions in Reading or online, in English or Italian, move between focused talking, gentle somatic resourcing and brief between-session reflections to anchor new patterns. I keep pace responsive—steady when trauma feels raw, exploratory when you seek growth—so change feels embodied as well as understood. This way of working suits people navigating trauma, long-term illness or relationship shifts who want grounded, practical progress.
