“Don’t be afraid. I’m here with you. In my room, every part of you is welcome. You stay in the driver’s seat; together, we’ll find the part of you that hurts and listen to what it needs.”

About me

For over 20 years, I worked to help children stay with their families and supported people through some of the hardest circumstances of their lives. I spent much of that time in parts of Russia where life was far from easy. I’ve heard stories that are difficult to tell, so you don’t need to worry about shocking me or finding the right words. I began as a documentary filmmaker. That work taught me to listen closely, without taking someone’s story away from them. I bring that same attention to therapy. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I want you to feel that you have someone steady beside you as we find a way forward.

Approach

I came to EMDR because understanding trauma was not enough for me. After years of working with children separated from their families, I knew how deeply those experiences could shape a life. I wanted a way to help people with what understanding alone could not change. EMDR helped me personally. I’ve also seen it help people who had struggled to find relief in therapy. That is why I care so much about this method. But I don’t work with a method alone: we can also get to know the different parts of you, including the ones that have learned to protect you. Above all, I will listen. Trauma is often lived through in terrible loneliness. In our work, you won’t have to face it alone.
