I help adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in difficult relationships, or uncertain about an important life decision to understand what is keeping them stuck and find a clearer way forward.

About Me

People often come to counselling when something that used to work no longer does. You may find yourself overthinking everything, repeatedly having the same conflicts in a relationship, questioning an important decision, or simply feeling that you have lost your sense of direction. I work with adults and couples facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, low self-esteem, separation, loss, relocation, and other significant life changes. My aim is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to understand what is happening beneath the surface, including patterns that may be keeping the difficulty going, and to find realistic ways of changing them. My style is warm, respectful, and collaborative, but therapy with me is also an active process. We may explore emotions and recurring relationship patterns, examine beliefs and ways of responding, or use experiential work when talking alone is not enough. I integrate existential therapy, Gestalt therapy, psychodrama, and elements of CBT, adapting the work to the individual rather than following one rigid method. I offer counselling in English and Russian, online internationally and in person in Tallinn.

Approach

My approach is integrative, with an existential foundation. I draw on Gestalt therapy, psychodrama, and elements of CBT depending on the person, the problem, and what is happening in the therapeutic process. I am interested not only in reducing symptoms, but in understanding the meaning of the difficulty and the patterns that sustain it. This may involve exploring emotions and beliefs, looking at recurring ways of relating to others, working with different internal roles or perspectives, and experimenting with new ways of responding. The aim is to develop greater clarity and self-understanding while translating insight into changes that can be lived outside the therapy room.
