Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

I am deeply committed to providing psychological care that honours the full complexity of human experience. My clinical approach is guided by compassion, ethical responsibility, and respect for each person’s dignity and lived experience. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, relational distress, and spiritually rooted psychological concerns, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where individuals feel safe enough to confront pain while discovering resilience and clarity.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience in public health and private practice. My work has included extensive experience with trauma, suicide risk, complex relational difficulties, and culturally grounded expressions of psychological distress. In the South African context, emotional suffering is often intertwined with spiritual and cultural meaning systems. My practice integrates evidence-based psychological interventions with culturally responsive and spiritually sensitive care, allowing for a holistic and respectful approach to healing. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief, attachment difficulties, mood disorders, identity struggles, and life transitions. I am committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and collaborative care that honours each client’s unique story and context.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the individual. I draw from various evidence-based modalities to ensure that each person receives care that best meets their specific needs, context, and goals.
