I am a Clinical Psychologist working with adolescents and adults who may feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or impacted by difficult life experiences and transitions. I provide a thoughtful, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space focused on helping individuals better understand themselves, improve emotional wellbeing, and create meaningful, lasting change.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered in South Africa, offering psychotherapy to adolescents and adults in both in-person and online settings. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (cum laude) at North-West University, with clinical training at Weskoppies Hospital and Tshwane District Hospital. I work with a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, suicidality, and emotional dysregulation. My work is grounded in understanding each individual within their unique emotional, relational, and developmental context, while tailoring therapy to their specific needs and goals. Alongside symptom management and practical coping strategies, I value deeper therapeutic exploration that supports insight, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and long-term psychological wellbeing.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed, grounded primarily in attachment-informed psychotherapy, psychodynamic understanding, and nervous system-informed approaches. I work from the understanding that emotional difficulties are shaped by our relationships, life experiences, and the ways in which the mind and body respond to stress and adversity. Therapy focuses on helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and insight into recurring emotional and relational patterns. My work incorporates an understanding of the nervous system and mind-body connection, drawing from somatic and Polyvagal-informed perspectives where appropriate to support emotional processing and regulation. I also integrate evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and DBT-informed approaches when clinically appropriate and tailored to the individual needs and goals of each client. My aim is to provide a therapeutic space that feels thoughtful, collaborative, supportive, and grounded in genuine human connection.
