Mrs Natasha Dekker

Social Worker (Mental Health)

A Christian orientated therapist focusing balancing life in these difficult times. Working with teenagers and kids using different therapy methods helps them get through tough times in a comfortable way.

About Me

When life feels overwhelming, I help teenagers and children find balance and navigate difficult times. Drawing on a Christian-oriented approach, I use play and creative methods to create a comfortable space. Young people can safely explore their feelings and build resilience here. This gentle support helps them understand their experiences and move forward with hope.

Approach

Restoring steadiness in daily life begins with small, paced moments that feel safe and hopeful. In Pretoria or online, in Afrikaans or English, sessions are relaxed and hands-on — play, drawing or brief movement help younger clients name feelings while gentle conversation and grounding skills support older teens and adults. Between meetings I often suggest simple, manageable activities to practice so progress threads into everyday life. This way of working tends to suit young people and families facing stress, mood shifts or lingering trauma.
