Ms Nadya Romanova, BSc

Psychological Counselor

I am a psychological counselor based in Moscow, with experience in multimodal and cross-cultural therapeutic approaches. I am dedicated to supporting clients in building healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves, the people around them, and the world they live in.

About Me

I'm Nadya, a psychological counselor based in Moscow. I work in English and Russian, online or in person, whatever feels right to you. I spent 8 years living, studying, and working abroad myself, so I have a real feel for what it's like to navigate life between cultures and far from home, and I draw on that with the expats and global professionals I work with.

Approach

My approach includes psychodynamic (PPT) and existential schools of thought, but I let the framework follow you, not the other way around. I'm in therapy myself and take ongoing supervision seriously because I think that honesty matters as much as training does. A few things that matter: Confidentiality What you share in our sessions stays between us. That's not a formality, it's what makes the work possible. Safety I provide a consistent, non-judgmental space where difficult things can be explored without pressure. Transparency You'll always know what we're doing and why. I think of therapy as a dialogue; your feedback shapes the work as much as my training does. Authenticity You can come as you are. I show up with the same honesty and genuine presence, without hiding behind a professional mask.
