Living abroad can be exciting, but it also brings unique emotional challenges — like anxiety, depression, loneliness, identity confusion, or the constant pressure to adapt. For couples, these challenges can show up as communication breakdowns, cultural misunderstandings, or a growing sense of disconnection. I’m a bilingual psychologist with over 13 years of experience in the field of psychology, shaped by academic study, research, and deep multicultural engagement. I specialize in therapy for expats, immigrants, and multicultural couples. I’ve lived in multiple countries and have worked closely with individuals from more than 20 different nationalities. Through this journey, I found my passion in working with immigrants. I understand how emotionally complex it can be to start over and how hard it can be to stay connected to yourself and your partner through it all. Currently completing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, I focus my research on the emotional and relational experiences of expatriates and bicultural couples. My goal is to provide a culturally sensitive and compassionate space where you can gain clarity, process difficult emotions, and make choices that truly align with who you are and what you need. I offer sessions in English and Portuguese, both online and in person in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
