Psychotherapist (Registered)

About Me

I offer a warm, affirming space for those navigating gender expansive and LGBTQI identities. My trauma-informed approach recognises the unique sensitivities involved when exploring past experiences or self-harm. We work collaboratively to understand your feelings and build resilience. Sessions move at your pace, fostering a secure environment where you can openly explore challenging emotions and find new ways forward. I aim to create a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Approach

Gender-expansive and LGBTQI themes often sit alongside trauma and self-harm, so I centre safety and clarity as we navigate them together. Whether meeting in Dublin or online in English, sessions are paced to what you can tolerate, with practical check-ins between sessions when helpful. I blend psychodynamic reflection with moment-to-moment grounding and collaborative exploration so difficult memories and urges can be understood and managed rather than overwhelming you. Those seeking steady, compassionate focus on identity, trauma and self-harm tend to find this way of working helpful.
