Mr Michael Hegarty

Registered Psychotherapist

I offer one to one talk therapy. I believe that successful healing comes through the connection in the client/therapist bond.

About Me

I believe a strong, trusting connection is fundamental for healing in therapy. In one-to-one talk therapy, I focus on cultivating this bond. This creates a safe space where you can share openly and feel genuinely heard. Our collaborative work helps us explore your experiences together, fostering understanding and personal growth. If you seek a truly supportive relationship to navigate your challenges, our sessions offer a clear path forward.

Approach

Healing unfolds through a dependable, respectful connection that shapes how I work with you. From my base in Moycullen, Galway I offer sessions in English, both face-to-face and online, so we can find a rhythm that fits your life. In session we slow down to map feelings, trace patterns from past hurts and current stresses, and practice new ways of relating and coping between meetings. This approach tends to suit adults looking for steady, collaborative support through anxiety, loss, burnout or relationship strain.
