Dr Menah Raven-Ellison

CBT Psychotherapist

I’m an experienced, accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I am compassionate, warm and have a proven track record of helping hundreds of clients experiencing distressing symptoms underpinned by anxiety, low mood and/or trauma. Let me help you to feel better and to start thriving.

About Me

If you're grappling with the weight of anxiety, low mood, or past trauma, I offer a warm and compassionate space. As an experienced CBT psychotherapist, I guide you to understand how thoughts and behaviours impact your well-being. We'll work together on practical strategies to ease distressing symptoms. My aim is for you to feel better and rediscover your path to thriving.

Approach

We start by gently mapping how anxiety, low mood or past experiences show up in your life, then agree clear, manageable goals to guide our work. In sessions in Exeter or online in English I keep a practical, structured pace: we set an agenda, try focused exercises and draw on brief mindfulness when it helps. Between meetings you'll try short experiments and reflections to test new ways of thinking and coping, which we review together. This approach suits adults seeking steady, practical relief and clearer direction.
