Psychologist

I provide Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy for couples seeking to overcome their challenges and increase healthy communication, repair the attachment bond, and increase emotional and sexual intimacy. I support individuals healing from grief and loss, abandonment and rejection, and with other life transitions.

About Me

I am a Registered Psychologist in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I provide counselling for individuals navigating grief and loss, conflict, betrayal, trauma, and life transitions. I support couples seeking to overcome conflict, communication issues, and infidelity to repair and learn new communication skills while also nurturing intimacy and connection. I offer group therapy for individuals and couples: Empowerment Lab to learn skills for communication and boundaries; LIFFT for women who have experienced betrayal trauma, rejection and abandonment, and relational loss; Braving Grief and Loss for those who have lost a loved one; Fearless Awakening for women who are ready to transition into new life stages; and Fierce Couples Intensives for couples ready to dive deeply into relationship change.

Approach

When couples or individuals come seeking deeper connection, clarity, or relief from loss, our work begins with gentle curiosity and compassion. Whether you meet with me in my Medicine Hat office or online anywhere in Alberta, I offer a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and guided forward. Together, we slow things down to understand what’s happening beneath the surface—your emotions, needs, and relationship patterns—while also creating practical steps you can use between sessions. We work with thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in ways that lead to real, lasting change over time. My approach is human-centred and trauma-informed, weaving together attachment-based work, emotionally focused interventions, nervous-system regulation, and parts-based understanding. The goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and others, build confidence and emotional safety, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and meaningful—so you can truly learn, heal, and thrive.
