Melanie

Dr Melanie Marx, BPsych

Registered Counselor

I offer individual counselling for adults and adolescents. I also work with children through play.

About Me

I offer individual Counseling, helping adults and adolescents navigate life's challenges. For younger clients, I guide children to express feelings through the natural language of play. This approach creates a safe space where worries can be explored without words. It fosters confidence and resilience, helping every client find their voice and feel truly heard.

Approach

I focus on clear, step-by-step change by helping you identify emotions, understand patterns, and choose small, manageable actions to practice between sessions. My work with adolescents and adults is guided by assessment, skills development, and trauma-sensitive pacing. When working with children, I use play-based approaches to help them express experiences they may not yet have words for, while supporting collaborative problem-solving with families.
