Ms Mary Rose Dias, MSc

Specialist Wellness Counselor

verified by TherapyRoute

I am a non-clinical holistic therapist and coach with a Masters-level background in coaching psychology, advanced yoga and meditation training, and certification as an iRest® meditation teacher. My work centres on supporting people who experience anxiety, overwhelm, and stress to find steadiness, clarity, and connection within themselves. I draw on evidence-informed psychological tools alongside somatic, yogic, and mindfulness-based practices. My intention is to offer a compassionate, grounded space where clients can slow down, feel deeply met, and explore what is happening beneath the surface. I work collaboratively, honouring each person’s wisdom and pacing, and I am committed to providing support that is ethical, respectful, and genuinely nurturing.

About Me

I’m a Masters-trained coach, positive psychology practitioner, and certified iRest® meditation teacher, offering a gentle, integrative approach for people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. My work blends evidence-based psychology with yogic wisdom, somatic awareness, and mindfulness practices. I support clients to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, understand the patterns keeping them stuck, and build inner resources that help life feel more grounded and manageable. My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful. I don’t diagnose or offer clinical treatment; instead, I provide a non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s happening in your life, make sense of your experience, and develop practical tools that genuinely support your wellbeing. If you’re craving clarity, nervous system support, or simply a place to land and be met with compassion, I’d love to walk alongside you.

Approach

My approach is integrative, trauma-aware, and grounded in the belief that healing occurs when we reconnect with our inner resources. I combine positive psychology, somatic awareness, iRest® Yoga Nidra, and mindfulness practices with a warm, person-centred presence. Sessions are spacious and collaborative rather than prescriptive. We explore your lived experience gently and respectfully, paying attention to the body, nervous system, and the stories that shape your inner world. Instead of trying to “fix” anything, we work to understand what’s arising, what it’s asking for, and what supports you most. I do not diagnose or offer clinical interventions. My work weaves alongside medical and clinical care, providing space for gentle emotional processing, grounding, embodied integration, self-inquiry, and practical skill-building that can be integrated into everyday life.
