Ms Mary McClenaghan

Registered Psychotherapist

I am a client centred therapist who specializes in anxiety, ADHD, low self esteem, grief, negative thinking and career issues. I want to meet you where you are at so we can explore what is affecting you having the life you want.

About Me

I want to meet you where you are. We'll work collaboratively to explore what prevents you from having the life you desire. We can address anxiety, ADHD, or negative thinking together. You'll find a supportive space to navigate low self-esteem, process grief, or clarify career concerns. My goal is to help you uncover practical ways forward to create the fulfilling life you envision.

Approach

You’ll find sessions paced to your readiness, where we gently name patterns that keep you stuck and try small, practical experiments between meetings. I see adults in Newmarket, Ontario, working in English for focused, in-person therapy that blends attentive listening with clear, goal-focused planning. We use manageable tools for anxiety, attention, self-worth and grief, tracking what helps so the work feels useful from week to week. This way of working often fits people who want down-to-earth problem solving and steady, measurable progress.
