About Me
Approach
It is understandable that entering therapy can sometimes feel daunting or unfamiliar. In order to assist you with your needs/goals I will ask some questions to get a better understanding of you. You will also be able to express your needs/goals for therapy. This can sometimes be hard to identify in which case I will assist you in this journey. We can then look at an approach or skills that will help you to make progress in regard to the identified goals. You are at any time welcome to indicate if you feel we need to change the approach since you will always be the main player in your own life.
I use an eclectic approach, which means that I will choose an approach that will best suit your personality and needs. I also follow a Person Centred approach which means treating you with unconditional positive regard. I have an interest in CBT and DBT which often provides helpful tools that can assist with healthy change.
Ask a quick question or arrange a time to meet.
Services
I would like to assist on your journey towards a more fulfilling life or better mental health. After 20 years of experience I use an Eclectic Approach. This means that I carefully decide the best approach given the needs of my client. My approach is honest but caring and without judgment.
I often use CBT, DBT, Person Centred Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
