Approach

I believe healing & change can happen within a therapy space that holds safety, creativity and trust. Sometimes words can feel they simply are not enough. I offer a combination of verbal & evidence-based creative art therapy techniques which can include the use of art, images, movement, sound, music, dreams & stories. My sessions offer a warm, grounded, compassionate, trauma-informed, inclusive & safe environment. I invite clients to have choice in the way we work together that feels comfortable & safe with the intention of supporting you to explore, release & find creative insight. My intention is to support you with tools for your life & personal growth. My work is person-centered, evidence-based and holistic. I work with each person's preferences, needs and values with dignity, compassion & respect. Clients don't have to "be creative" or have creative skills or background to access sessions. The initial step may feel the most challenging, yet through collaborating together we can learn more about yourself & what may support you on your journey. In sessions we work together at your own pace with a range of creative art forms if you wish &/or talk. Sessions can support with exploring confidence, self-esteem & insights, bringing more awareness, authentic self acceptance & personal growth. A space to support your emotional wellbeing and re-write your story. My practice includes an intersectional, mindful, attachment-based framework. Being a neurodivergent MA Creative Arts Psychotherapist-Dramatherapist means we can collaborate in a way that feels holistic - a space for you to explore, express & safely make sense of your internal world. Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions you may have. We can book an initial 20min free appointment & explore what brings you to therapy.
