Louise

Mrs Louise Henderson

Counselor

I am a person centred counselor who integrates cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic approaches with Mindfulness & outdoor therapy.

About Me

I offer a supportive space to explore what's on your mind. As a person-centred counsellor, I integrate cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic approaches. This helps you gain deeper understanding. We can also explore Mindfulness, or connect with nature through outdoor therapy for fresh perspectives. This blended approach offers insight into past patterns and practical tools for present challenges. It suits those seeking holistic growth and a tailored path forward.

Approach

Rather than only exploring history, I focus on how we work together—gentle curiosity, practical experiments and reflective pauses—to help you notice patterns and try new responses. In Tyne and Wear or online, in English, sessions are paced to suit you and can move between talking, simple exercises and, when helpful, walks outdoors to shift perspective. Between meetings I offer short practices and reflections to embed change, especially for anxiety, low mood or life transitions. This way of working often fits those seeking steady, practical growth.
